I like the nice clean interior. Food is good but it's not the best Malaysian food I've had. Waiters are friendly and price is right. A good place for families with kids.

This restaurant is great. We didn't have a long wait to get a table. The staff is friendly and professional. We got the Satay Lamb skewers for appetizers and it was delicious, one of the best skewers I've had in a long time. We got the Assam Laksa - it's a fish based noodle soup. It was very good, although I did find the quantity of fish slightly low. Next up is the Curry Laksa soup. I recommend choosing the yellow noodles instead of the rice noodles unless you really prefer the rice noodles. Delicious and perfectly seasoned. I will be coming back for more!

To sum it up - food is pretty good, service is really bad. This restaurant has some of the worst waitress I ever seen. They simply don't care about their customers. We waited for 10 minutes before one waitress came and took our order, and another 50 minutes passed nothing was ready. We had to check with the owner of the restaurant, then found out the waitress messed up the order number and our order was completely ignored. When the food finally came they are delicious and authentic. The black pepper lamb is soft and juicy, which is highly recommended.

Food was okay especially the starter egg roti thing they have was amazing with the dipping. Kind of on the pricey end but definitely a place to try.

I don't know much about Malaysian food but good food here. Familiar and similar Chinese and Indian dishes. I liked the chicken skewers.

Ha vent been here in a while and their menu has expanded. so many options! This is my "safety"place whenever I want good Malaysian food and don't feel like exploring. It hasn't changed, still delicious and service spectacular. Low key and family friendly. However slightly pricey and cash only.

Reasonably authentic Malaysian food. The satay was the best dish, but kudos for good chow fun with some "wok hei" and decent chicken for the chicken rice.

The roti canai is not up to my standards. It tasted like it was frozen before, and all they did was heat it up in the microwave. Banana Island (in Daly City, California) has roti canai that is 100x better. However, the noodle dishes are tasty.

I've been struggling to find good Singaporean/Malaysian food in the Seattle area, and after stumbling on this gem, I 1000% recommend it to anyone. It WAY better than Kedai Makan in Seattle and it really has the authentic taste I was craving. It is definitely worth the drive to Redmond to check it out!

Best place to get authentic Malaysian cuisine - it's as close to local Malaysian food as you can get in Greater Seattle.

The service was good but the food taste has been declined authenticity compared to previous years.

Authentic delicious Malaysian cuisine. We went there with our friends for an early dinner on our way back home. Really enjoyed the food especially the laksa and roti canai. The service was great. The decor of the restaurant has a tropical Malaysian vibe to it. We will go back again for sure and definitely recommend this place to anyone.

People who work here are friendly. Food portion is good for the price. They have a bar as well. Food tastes really good. If you love to add spice to your food ask for hot chilli mix. I just love the chilli mix its so perfect. Good place to take your kids. One of the best Malaysian restaurant around seattle area.

A good place to get Malay/Singaporean dish - mixed with Chinese and even Thai flavors. A couple of favorites include hainan chicken rice, seafood laksa w/ noodle, stir fry vegetables (expensive but fresh & good) - eg: stir fry kangkung. Plenty of indoor seatings, no outdoor seatings. Easy parking in the strip mall lot.

Malaysian at its finest"Malaysian is not everyone's go to cuisine but for someone who is open minded when it comes to eating, I was pleased to find a new spot for something exotic.Malay Satay is a good place to get Malay/Singaporean dish - mixed with Chinese and even Thai flavors. A couple of favorites include hainan chicken rice, ho kee mee. Beff curry brisket, seafood laksa w/ noodle, stir fry vegetables (expensive but fresh & good) - eg: stir fry kangkung. They have a really good chili paste to compliment your dish. Plenty of indoor seating with a bar too. No outdoor seating but its always easy to get seated here anyways.

The lamb was so flavorful and addicting and the Mee siam was very well made! Portions were big and made for the traditional family style sharing. Taste was authentic and just how I remembered it from Malaysia!

We ordered the "must try" laska, lamb satay and roti. The Laska was good, but not amazing. The satay was unfortunately underwhelming for me but probably it was just a personal preference. The roti was very good. What got it a 3-star are the service. The service was kinda slow - it took them 30 minutes to put the first food item on our table. And the actual service was non-existent. No one was around to take the empty plates or pour water. And our table was not even clean. I debated with myself whether I should tip, but ended up tipping 15% very unwillingly. So food is 4, service is 2.

Located in a strip mall, near the Redmond-Bellevue Rd, the Malay Satay Hut offers delicious Malaysian cuisine. Upon coming through the front entrance, one is presented with the tempting specials of the day. I chose a Tiger Asian Lager, an appetizer, and two of the options. The appetizer is something I had not tried in the past: 'Roti Telur - Murtabak, Indian-style pancake w eggs, onions, red & green pepper, w curry dipping sauce. For entree, the special I chose was Hot & Spicy Frog Legs, enjoying the abundance of spicy flavors. This was a treat, as I had not had frog legs for a considerable time. For dessert, I chose the Coconut Pudding, served in the shell. This was a delightful way to ease to the finish of the dinging experience.

I was the last customer on the night of April 4th and first customer the morning after. This is how awesome this place is. Takes me right home!! Hainanese chicken rice was spot on. Delicious roti canai appetizer. Looks like I've got to move out of Delaware and into Washington! Ordered oyster omelette, roti telur, chow kway teow and Laksa this morning and was awesome!!! My new found favorite spot!

I enjoyed grabbing dinner here. The Malaysian food is pretty decent, with a variety of dishes. We went for the common fried rice, crispy noodles and tried out the mango tofu. The food is pretty decent and I would eat here again.
